Founded in 2010 by alumni of IIT Madras, Sea6 Energy is a pioneering biotechnology research company dedicated to developing innovative and sustainable solutions for global challenges in the food, feed, and fuel sectors. Headquartered at C-CAMP, National Centre for Biological Sciences within the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bengaluru, we harness the power of ocean farming and cutting-edge R&D to drive impactful change.
Our Agricultural Innovations
At Sea6 Energy, we are committed to revolutionizing agriculture with science-backed, eco-friendly solutions that enhance crop productivity, improve soil health, and protect against plant diseases. Our Agri-portfolio includes products in the Biostimulant, Biodefense, and Fertilizer Coating categories:
• Phytacoat – A breakthrough fertilizer coating biostimulant technology that enhances Fertilizer Use Efficiency (FUE) by enriching the soil microbiome, , and optimizing the plant’s metabolic activity, leading to healthier and more resilient crops.
• AgroGain – Our globally patented biostimulant is designed to enhance key yield attributes by stimulating photosynthesis, lateral root growth , cell division and helps plants combat abiotic stress factors such as drought, salinity, and extreme temperatures—ultimately resulting in higher crop productivity.
• AG Fort – A next-generation Biodefense product that helps plants build immunity against viral diseases when applied as a prophylactic treatment, offering natural and effective disease protection.
