Barcelona 2025 — The Inaugural Conference

The first Cultivating Tomorrow Conference took place in Barcelona, Spain, from 1–3 April 2025, marking the launch of the IFA Innovation Hub, the Cultivate Challenge, and IFA's online Innovation Directory. Around 200 leaders — including Chief Sustainability Officers, Chief Innovation Officers, Heads of R&D, and entrepreneurs from across the fertilizer and agriculture industries — gathered to explore climate change, biodiversity, novel fertilizers, artificial intelligence, safety innovations, and the circular economy, spotlighting the startups and emerging technologies shaping the industry's future.

Budapest 2026 — The Second Edition

Building on Barcelona's momentum, the second Cultivating Tomorrow Conference was held in Budapest, Hungary, on 3–4 June 2026. It brought together another 150 attendees from 30 countries including 25 startups, for pitch showcases, case-driven sessions, expert panels and peer exchange focused on leading-edge insights and sustainable solutions that can be piloted, scaled, and embedded across the industry.
