Cynthia A. Grant

Dr Cynthia A. Grant works at the Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada Research Station, Brandon, Manitoba, Canada. Grant is one of the few young scientists doing soil fertility research in Canada.

Her work on fertilization in conventional and reduced-tillage cropping systems has earned her respect in scientific circles. Her work on fertilizer management in reduced tillage operations is providing farmers with answers to their questions on fertilizer rates, timing and placement and will undoubtedly lead to improved fertilizer use efficiencies under these new cropping systems. Grant's farming background and interest in applied research have made her very popular with farmers and industry agronomists.
