Startup - Founded in 2019Sydney, Australia
Nutrients Nitrogen related
Technologies Low carbon nitrogen production

PlasmaLeap is pioneering a cleaner future, by building accessible, sustainable technology for fuel and chemical production.

Our moonshot is to decarbonise the global primary chemicals industry.

Our world-leading non-thermal plasma reactors show exceptional energy efficiency and productivity rates. The modular, scalable deployment model allows customers to produce chemicals on-site, on-demand using simple inputs such as atmospheric air, water and renewable energy. Our primary output is Nitric Acid, a building block for Calcium Nitrate, Ammonium Nitrate and NPK products.

Your IFA Innovation Platform Profile

What collaboration are we looking for?

PlasmaLeap is now commercialising its patented technology. We are seeking pilot participants willing to use our Calcium Nitrate and Nitric Acid products alongside their existing N sources and record in-crop outcomes for PlasmaLeap. We are also seeking renewable energy developers to collaborate on selecting commercial sites.

What solutions and opportunities are we offering?

We offer the chance for on-site production of Nitric Acid at a discounted rate compared to incumbent sources of N. We offer food and beverage companies the chance to reduce Scope 3 emissions by working with their growers.
