Nutrients Nitrogen related
Technologies Low carbon nitrogen production

Copernic has leveraged AI and high-throughput experiment to develop a drop-in ammonia catalyst, branded Neptune™, that is more active under mild conditions, thereby reducing the cost of production for all colors of ammonia. Neptune can be used either in a bolt-on interstage retrofit to existing industrial-scale ammonia plants or as a replacement for the first bed in conventional/blue/green plant designs. When used as a bolt-on, Neptune can increase plant capacity by 7-20% while reducing OpEx by 5-15%, leading to annual profit increases of up to tens of millions of dollars.

Your IFA Innovation Platform Profile

What collaboration are we looking for?

We would be very interested to work with ammonia producers to have them involved with the pilot testing of our Neptune catalyst. This will allow them to evaluate whether a bolt-on retrofit/capacity increase might make sense for their plants to increase their profits and reduce their carbon footprint.

What solutions and opportunities are we offering?

Copernic offers our advanced Neptune™ ammonia synthesis catalyst for both retrofit capacity increases and first-bed drop-in replacements for their existing HB catalysts.
