Specialty fertilizers

The IFA Secretariat has developed a database on the market for specialty fertilizers, which currently covers 29 countries.
The IFA database – which contains historical fertilizer production, trade and consumption statistics by product and by country since 1973/74 (IFADATA).
Fertilizer data for year 2006 – 2006/07 are available online.

IFA welcomes its new President
Ajay S Shriram, Chairman and Senior Managing Director of DCM Shriram Consolidated Ltd (DSCL) was elected President of IFA for the next two years. He is taking over from Thorleif Enger, who remains a member of IFA’s Executive Management Group as Immediate Past President. Mr Shriram is an Indian national and is also a Director of the Fertiliser Association of India (FAI) .
