Nishant Kanodia

Nishant Kanodia is Promoter and Chairman of Matix Fertilisers and Chemicals Limited (www.matixgroup.com). He has built the business from concept to implementation setting up the first 1.27 MTPA, single train, gas-based urea plant in India. Today, Matix is amongst the most energy efficient producers of nitrogenous fertilisers globally.

Nishant is the driving force behind Matix’s position as one of India’s fastest-growing fertiliser companies. He is currently focused on Matix’s next phase of growth and has built a team of experienced professionals with successful track records in the fertiliser industry. Matix commands approximately a 20% market share in urea in eastern India. Nishant’s commitment to enhancing agricultural productivity through innovative crop nutrition and soil enhancement products remains steadfast.

Nishant is also Chairman of Datamatics Business Solutions, a leader in B2B sales & marketing solutions, business process transformation, and technology outsourcing solutions to Fortune 1000 clients across industries.

Nishant is an alumnus of the prestigious Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and is a member of the Mumbai Chapter of the Entrepreneurs Organisation (EO) and Young President Organisation (YPO).
