Amit Lohia

Born in 1974 in India and raised in Indonesia, Amit Lohia obtained his Undergraduate Degree in Finance from the Wharton School of Business. He subsequently joined his family business, Indorama, at their corporate office in Jakarta in 1996. Since then, he has executed numerous green-field industrial projects and acquisitions for Indorama globally. After Jakarta, he spent 10 years in Singapore and presently resides in London with his family. He is the Vice Chairman of Indorama Corporation, which is a holding company with subsidiaries manufacturing fertilizers, polymers, medical gloves, and textile raw materials, with a turnover of USD 6 Billion. Mr. Amit Lohia is on the board of several companies including Indorama Ventures Limited, the world’s largest producer of polyester products. He is also a member of organizations such as the Wharton Executive Board for EMEA, YPO, and the Owners Forum.
