Alexander was born in 1980.
In 2003 he graduated from the Vologda branch of the Moscow State Law Academy with a degree in law. He has been working for PhosAgro and its subsidiaries since 1999. In 2006–2013, he headed the Legal Department of the Cherepovets branch of the management company PhosAgro AG. From 2013 to 2017 he was the Director for Legal Affairs and then CEO of the Management Company for JSC Apatit.
From January to October 2018, he served as Deputy CEO and Chief of Staff for the CEO of PhosAgro. In 2018 he was appointed First Deputy General Director of JSC Apatit and was appointed as General Director of JSC Apatit in November 2019.
In July 2025 he was appointed CEO of PJSC PhosAgro.
