ID Capital is a private venture capital and innovation advisory firm specializing in agrifoodtech, with a distinctive expertise on the Asia-Pacific region.
With 15 investments to date ID Capital is also set up to accelerate the development of this emerging ecosystem and engage industry leaders in shifting mindsets.
In 2016, ID Capital launched the Future Food Asia Award, the first regional start-up competition of its kind, culminating in the annual Future Food Asia Conference (futurefoodasia.com). This initiative received support from the Singapore Economic Development Board in its early years.
In 2019, ID Capital was appointed as a co-investment partner in agrifoodtech start-ups by Singapore’s SEEDS Capital. In 2021, it established a subsidiary in Shanghai, China, and in 2022, began expanding its activities in Europe.
