Scientific Panel on Responsible Plant Nutrition

The Scientific Panel on Responsible Plant Nutrition (SPRPN) was established in early 2020 to provide scientific analysis and guidance to IFA and its stakeholders on all dimensions of responsible plant nutrition and its economic, environmental and societal outcomes.

Acting in an independent manner, the SPRPN publishes scientific issue papers on key issues and opportunities related to productivity and food security, greenhouse gas emissions and environment, human nutrition and health, soil health, and nutrient recovery and recycling. The panel interacts with the wider global research community and it also selects the annual winners of the IFA Science Awards.
