Leaders of the Kingdom of Bahrain congratulate Dr. Jawahery for being appointed as IFA Chairman

Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery, newly appointed Chairman of the International Fertilizer Industry Association (IFA) and President of Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC), humbly accepted the formal congratulations on his appointment from the Leaders of the Kingdom of Bahrain, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Shaikh Salman bin Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince and First Deputy Prime Minister.

His Majesty sincerely extended his warm and genuine delight in seeing Dr. Jawahery rise to such ranks on both the national and international stage.  His Majesty further iterated that this election, served as proof of the excellent reputation of and confidence in the important Bahraini company, GPIC, and its leader, Dr. Jawahery,  throughout the international industry.

With the focus and dedication of Dr. Jawahery on this most important industry which helps to feed the world, and his promotion of effective fertilization strategies and engagement with key global stakeholders, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince believes that Dr. Jawahery is considered a prestigious source of pride for all in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

In closing, His Majesty extended his best wishes to Dr. Jawahery on the journey ahead and reiterated his pride in Dr Jawahery’s election as  Chairman of this critical International Institution.

The International Fertilizer Industry Association (IFA) is a trade association representing the global fertilizer industry, which provides the crop nutrients that allow farmers everywhere to meet the world's growing food, feed, fiber and bioenergy needs in a sustainable manner. IFA member companies represent all activities related to the production and distribution of every type of fertilizer, their raw materials and intermediates. IFA’s membership also includes organizations involved in agronomic research and training. IFA has some 550 members in about 86 countries.
