Note on the units used in the online statistical tables

The statistics covering Ammonia, Urea, AN, CAN, AS, MAP, DAP TSP, Phosphate Rock and Potash include two sheets:

  • "N": where figures are expressed in thousand tonnes of nutrient
  • "P": where data are expressed in thousand tonnes of product; this latter unit is usually used by traders and is commonly referred to in the specialized press.
  • "S": the statistics on sulphur are for elemental sulphur only.
