IFA was part of the organizing members of an official side-event of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change negotiations that took place in Poznan, Poland (1-12 December, 2008).
As part of the International Agri-Food Network, IFA joined forces with the International Federation of Agricultural Producers (IFAP), the Global Forum on Agricultural Research (GFAR) and CropLife International. The objective of the side-event was to showcase agriculture as being part of the solution, rather than the problem, to climate change.
