1994 IFA International Crop Nutrition Award - A.E. (Johnny) Johnston
A.E. (Johnny) Johnston is Lawes Trust Senior Fellow at AFRC Institute of Arable Crops Research, Rothamsted Experimental Station, U.K. Johnston has had a long career at Rothamsted and is recognized internationally as an authority on fertilizers and crop nutrition. He has communicated his work very effectively to researchers, advisors and others concerned with the development of practical farm and soil management systems. He has excellent direct contact with farmers, amongst whom he has a strong reputation.
