Following the publication of the first edition of Mineral Fertilizer Production and the Environment in 1996, the document has been extensively revised and expanded into two parts. The purpose of these publications is to provide guidelines on how environmental objectives might be achieved in the production of fertilizers by means of integrated industrial and environmental policies.Part 2 deals exclusively with Environmental Management Systems, such as ISO 9000, ISO 14000 and EMAS, and management tools and concepts such as corporate environmental reporting and eco-efficiency.We suggest that this publication is more technical and copies might be provided to relevant government departments, etc.
